Pier One units are rented Saturday to Saturday. Call the owners for shorter stays. 3 night minimum available occasionally. First built as a boathouse in the 1850's on Clark Point in Southwest Harbor, the original shingle style house maintains its 19th century charm and warm and welcoming Downeast Maine appearance. The property has been lovingly transformed over the past century into a beautifully landscaped private vacation rental compound that welcomes singles, couples, families, kids and, sometimes, even pets. This is also a wonderful compound for a family reunion. Dock and launch your canoe, kayak or small boat right outside your door. 5 minute walk from town center. Maine street and left on to Clark Point Rd -- Directions -- Route 95 in Bangor to 395 east to alt 1 south to Ellsworth. Route 3 to route 102 to SW Harbor. Turn left off of 102 in the center of SW Harbor at the light onto Clark Point Rd to 164.
